As said in the starting page - Raspberry Witch Workshop is both an archival site and a label under which I (ALePH_D) want to publish my original work to distinguish me as a creator and me as some random person posting about the stuff you don't need to care about. Raspberries had always intrigued me ever since I was a child (despite only seldom eating them - our land is too cold for the wild variety apparently and from my rural background - no one bothered to grow them) and given that they have thorns - I think it fits pretty well. "Through Adversity to the Stars" is what they say and "Through Thorns to the Fruit" is what I say: every being on earth will inevitably face adversity in their life - and what separates the living from nonexistent is our ability to overcome them - sure some will fall either by circumstances far out of their control (or their limbs happen to be that fragile to carry their weight), but I believe it's better to make the best out of any situation and live until you've left worthwhile fruits of your legacy behind. I wasn't dealt the best card in my life, which is reflective in my works always ending up somber in their tone both past and present - but it only served as the fuel for my works and ideas, all simply to spite it.
That's also the essence of the driving force behind oneself. It's both spite and love. Spite for the world surrounding me, and at the same time a genuine love; just like both Raspberries and Witches have two-faceted meanings of both good and evil (raspberries in Japanese language of flowers mean not only love, but regret as well). While I may not able to provide an experience that is deemed superior - at the very least I hope that the stories I create will be imprinted positively in your mind for a long time - as it is a sign of work well-made.
