It's been a while since the summer break started and compared to my usual night shift - the day shift is far more rumbunctious.
Everyone's moving, yelling scattering. And my hopes were crushed once as due to workload I don't get to see my folks that often, only minutes. Of course I could've tried to convince the higher-ups, but given that I'm a fresh hire, I doubt they'll even listen to my request and see it as nothing but an excuse to laze around.
One thing is clear - I'm getting fatigued more than usual as a result. Well, gotta pay the bills somehow in their absence.
Still, unbeknownst to myself, I realized that... I miss her. Her words, no matter how naive they were, carried the air of magical fantasy within them. As if speaking with her causes to time fly by faster. As if with her - time didn't even matter.
As I drag my legs through the small empty estate - I can only think about her now. Her smile, her presence. I miss her stupid jokes. I miss her ramblings on fairytales and their history. I miss... Yukino.
God.
Falling down on the bed, I can only think of one thing.
I wish to see her.
